Micromax Funbook Tablet PC unveiled

The Micromax Funbook is the new tablet PC which was unveiled by the company which is targeted for the students, thus the word EDUTAINMENT is used by the Micromax for Ads. The Funbook runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system. The Price of Micromax Funbook is Rs.6,499/-.

Micromax has entered the tablet pc market in India with its all new Micromax Funbook. Already lots of companies launched low priced tablet pc in Indian market like WishTel’s IRA, Intex’s iTab, BSNL’s PENTA TPAD. Now coming to the Micromax Funbook, The processor is of 1.2 GHz, dual Mali 400 2D and 3D graphics Cortex A8 processor. The operating system is of Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich), which is the latest OS from Google. The display is of 17.8 CMs capative touch screen with a display ratio of 16:9 and has 800x480p screen resolution and supports multi touch. Camera is of VGA which is a front facing camera.

The RAM is of 512MB with a 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using micro SD memory card. Supports HD video, MPEG 2-4, AVI, WMV, MOV. Has gravity sensor and acceletator sensor. Battery used is 2800mAh which gives up to 5 hours of standby. Connectivity wise supports 3G dongle using USB, HDMI out, WiFi and USB 2.0.
The Micromax Funbook is available in two colors Slate Grey and Midnight Black. The tablet comes with pre loaded Apps like Youtube, Adobe Flash, Adobe PDF, Zip Files. Supports PPT, XLS, DOC and more.
